ACADEMICS

Thomas More’s facilities are integral to the successful execution of our IEB programme. The campus boasts world-class learning environments that strike a perfect balance between academic excellence and student well-being. With access to state-of-the-art classrooms, advanced smart technology, and specialised spaces, students are empowered to explore new learning possibilities and reach their full potential. As a result, TMC consistently achieves outstanding Matric results, securing a place among the top 10 co-ed IEB schools annually.

SPORTS

The college’s exceptional sporting infrastructure includes the iKhwezi Indoor Sports Centre, 4 fields, 3 cricket pitches, 8 cricket bowling nets (with 2 indoor nets), an Astro turf, and 2 heated swimming pools, one of which is an Olympic-size water polo pool. Additionally, there are 2 multipurpose courts for basketball, netball, and tennis, 2 dedicated netball courts, a rock climbing wall, and a cross-country/trail running/cycle track through the school’s conservation area. These facilities emphasize the importance of physical fitness and teamwork, offering both competitive and recreational sports across different age groups. We are excited to announce the expansion of our facilities, which will include the addition of a state-of-the-art High-Performance Centre.

CULTURE

Culturally, the college provides numerous opportunities for students to engage in the arts and performance. Cultural activities include major annual productions, musical showcases, ballet, choir, debating, marimba tours, and more. The school fosters a vibrant cultural atmosphere where students’ talents are recognized in regular assemblies, awards ceremonies, and cultural evenings. Students can also participate in clubs like robotics and scripture union, encouraging both creativity and personal growth.
