In the short space of time since 1993, when the Primary School was established, Thomas More College has grown from 130 to over 1175 pupils. This rapid increase in pupil numbers has meant that there has been a growing demand for facilities in the areas of both education and sport. The school originally started in the Great House, and then over a period of time buildings on the estate were converted or built to accommodate the growing number of pupils. Generous benefactors such as the Ken Mackenzie Foundation, the Dalberg and Savory families, and others, have enabled the College to expand its facilities. However, with ever-increasing pupil participation in sport, and to accommodate pupils educational needs, further expansion has been necessary.
